My fitness journey started my freshman year of high school when I joined my school’s football team. I initially did it as a way to lose weight, but fell in love with the sport and continued to play it until college came around. I couldn’t afford to continue football in college, but knowing fitness is a necessity of life I continued to workout. My freshman year of college I came to Crossfit Rising Star after finding out that there are only so many bicep curls and leg presses you can do until you find yourself in a rut.
After joining the Crossfit community I have really taken to the impossible to master olympic lifts and the grunt work feeling of some of the workouts that bring me back to my football days! I am currently a level 1 Crossfit coach, along with a LNA (Licensed Nursing Aid). My favorite part of coaching would easily be getting to watch others improve themselves physically and mentally along with tackling their goals!
